Disrupting global banking with a new vision

The challenge

Our client, an innovative challenger bank with headquarters in Paris, has a disruptive vision - to deliver on the promise of truly global banking.

Aware that the startup phase of their journey would be critical, they wanted to set themselves up for success from day one. This meant giving themselves the best possible chance to overcome the significant challenges that would come during the early stages of their business.

We were brought in to offer our expertise in the payments and banking space; for guidance on technology and commercial strategies.

Approach

Initially our team designed and facilitated a number of explorative sessions to help define and develop the proposition. As the project moved into early execution, we focused in on the core user experience, developing and delivering wireframes and the user interface for the mobile application.

To support internal reporting to the board and to the regulator, we implemented a governance structure. Our team also oversaw project and programme management resources, helping to mobilise vendors and providing ongoing direction for both internal and external resources.
